I purchased this nail gun recently and was pleasantly surprised when I received it. The condition of the nailer was really suitable, you could reveal it wasn't notice novel as some limited touch up had been done to the unlit areas of the paint otherwise, you would be hard pressed to distinguish the gun from a recent one. After receiving it, I fired up my compressor and ran about 50 or so nails through it to get certain it worked well and to contemplate how easy it was to adjust the drive depth. I had no problems getting the gun to countersink 2" nails in oak.
Just a heads up, the description lists additional tips and hex wrenches as being included however, I did not receive any and do not inspect these items listed by other vendors in their description of the item. I suspect this is a minor oversight by Amazon.
I retract to hold current when possible however, when the notice is significantly cheaper, there is a promo code, and the warranty is obliging, there is no reason not to think purchasing this gun reconditioned.
The nailer came in the mail 2 days earlier than I expected. It had extra foot covers included in the box, which was nice. The nailer performed flawlessly with the Bostitch stamp 2 1/2 hasten nails. I did have a minor pickle with 1 rush Hitachi impress 1 dawdle nails...When I held it up to nail into the wall, it misfired about every 5th nail. This was remedied when I aimed it downward towards the ground. I switched to the 1 spin Bostitch nails and didn't have this predicament anymore. I suggest using the impress nails for this unit. I have yet to have a misfire with the Bostitch nails. The unit was in perfect condition out of the box. Only some diminutive indications that it had ever been primitive. I did have to employ my contain compressor adapter, as it did not arrive with one included. Not a jam because I had plenty for fair such an occasion. I accomplish a lot of antique reproduction style furniture, and this tool is a must. The 15 gauge nails are strong enough to absorb, but thin enough to not split the wood. It leaves a shrimp hole that is easily covered with putty, barely noticeable when finished. All in all a mountainous product at a ample note...Well under the label you pay for a wrong stamp from the local tool store.
Make definite you bewitch from a reseller that has a pleasant return policy. I got the pudgy refund without paying returned shipping fee.
I got the really venerable nailer that peruse like several year heavy extinct conventional out, missing a box of 1000 sampled nails, no instruction manual, no air fit connector, and a broken case lock clip.
In my case, that is not wonderful to establish $50.00 compare to a novel one. In additional, I have to delay my project in couple weeks.
